One hundred years after his death, Vincent van Gogh finds himself very much alive in modern-day Los Angeles. Having sold only one painting in his lifetime, he is amazed to learn that he is now considered one of the world's greatest artists. He devises a plan to give the proceeds from his masterworks to struggling young artists—but first he has to steal them back from the collectors who hoard them.
